Briefings
A federal judge ordered Donald Trump to appear in court on December 11, 2025, to testify in a lawsuit against the BBC seeking $10 million in damages. The BBC requested the case be dismissed, citing a prior agreement for Trump's appearance on October 16, 2025, which Trump allegedly canceled due to a 'national issue.' Trump has previously accused the BBC of defamation regarding the documentary 'Trump: A Second Chance,' which the BBC admitted involved editing errors and dismissed its executive team, though it denies defamation claims.
