Briefings
A sales representative and AI agent passed unapproved confidential data between two agents without human review, creating a data lineage gap. The incident highlights that traditional endpoint security fails when data moves through agentic workflows, requiring dynamic data lineage management to track sensitive information across systems. The report notes that enterprises must manage moving data rather than static files to secure agentic AI operations.
Key points
- A sales representative and AI agent passed unapproved confidential data between two agents without human review, creating a data lineage gap.
- The incident highlights that traditional endpoint security fails when data moves through agentic workflows, requiring dynamic data lineage management to track sensitive information across systems.
