Briefings

Apple's CEO John Ternus is advancing the development of a home robot named J595, potentially called HomeView Ultra, designed to autonomously roam while supporting FaceTime calls and lighting control. The company aims to launch the device by 2027, though delays may push the release to 2028. Early prototypes from 2018 received approval from former CEO Tim Cook to continue the project, with engineers focusing on AI capabilities beyond basic call support to justify the high price point.
