Briefings

Apple's Magic Keyboards for iPad offer significant price reductions, with the 13-inch Air model available at Woot for $129 compared to $319 at retailers. These accessories provide a 90-day warranty via Woot but exclude AppleCare coverage. The keyboards feature aluminum construction, a trackpad, and a magnetic attachment system that powers the iPad while leaving the USB-C port accessible for other accessories.

Key points

• The 13-inch Magic Keyboard for iPad Air (M2, M3, M4) is available at Woot for $129, representing a $190 savings from the $319 retail price.
• Woot provides a 90-day warranty for these keyboards, though they are explicitly not eligible for AppleCare coverage.

Context

Apple Magic Keyboards for iPad Air and Pro convert tablets into laptops with trackpads and aluminum designs, magnetically attaching to the device. They power the iPad via pogo pins, keeping the USB-C port free for additional accessories.

Limitations

Evidence covers specific M2, M3, M4, and M5 configurations with limited retailer pricing data. No information on M1, M2, or M3 pricing is provided, and no data on M4, M5, or M6 configurations is available.
