Briefings

Apple released Siri Recap and Live Rewind as the final Audio Intelligence features in watchOS 27.3 beta, utilizing a secure exclave on the watch chip and encrypted transfer to a paired iPhone. Siri Recap generates AI summaries of conversations within a 15-second window, while Live Rewind displays the last 15 seconds of audio via a double-click. Both features rely on the iPhone for processing and encryption, with summaries deleted after seven days if unused. The watch uses a lightweight ML model to identify conversations and filters sensitive data before sending it to the cloud.
