Briefings

Donald Trump's second term has seen increased inflation despite promises to reduce prices, driven by tariff policies that raised costs for hundreds of goods including citrus, steel, bananas, beef, and auto parts. A Fox News poll indicates 77% of Americans disapprove of his handling of tariffs, with the Supreme Court later ruling some tariffs illegal. The evidence shows a direct correlation between tariff implementation and price increases, though the long-term economic impact remains under investigation.
