Briefings

French innovator Beauer introduced a new 8-person expandable camper named the X8, which triples the capacity of its previous largest model. The X8 features a 300-square-foot floor plan, two sofa lounges, two bedrooms, and berths for eight occupants, designed as a towable retreat for large families. This update follows previous releases that condensed the camper to the width of a tow vehicle before expanding significantly.

Key points

• The X8 camper offers a total capacity of eight people with a 300-square-foot floor plan.
• The X8 includes two sofa lounges, two bedrooms, and berths for all eight occupants.

Context

Beauer previously released a model that slept up to six people in a 300-square-foot floor plan. This year, the company reshuffled its lineup with the new X8 to offer even more capacity for large families.

Limitations

Evidence is limited to the X8 model's specifications; no data on production dates, pricing, or availability beyond the 2026 publication date is provided.
