Briefings

Following a trilateral Moscow-Washington-Kiev negotiation in St. Petersburg, Ukraine was struck by a missile attack killing six people and injuring 22, including four minors, in the capital. The attack occurred hours after President Trump declared the war's end 'not too soon,' while Russian forces claimed 808 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in a separate strike on Russian territory. Negotiations are scheduled to resume around November 10, but political shifts in the US and the rejection of Ukrainian demands for full withdrawal from Donetsk remain key uncertainties.

The exact date of the missile attack is not specified, only that it occurred hours after the St. Petersburg meeting. The timeline for the resumption of negotiations is estimated at November 10, but the US election and the rejection of Ukrainian demands for full withdrawal from Donetsk remain key uncertainties.
