Briefings

The State has provided SIRESP SA with approximately 26 million euros annually since 2021 to maintain its emergency communication network, despite the company operating without a public service contract. This funding, authorized by the Government, has covered 17.33 million euros paid so far, with the remaining 8.67 million euros due in 2027. The situation remains controversial due to the lack of a formal contract and political instability, with the company facing potential suspension of its transformation project until new elections in 2025.
