Briefings
The Lusa international delegate contract was challenged by the Lusa Council of Editors (CR) and the Commission of the Professional Card of Journalists (CCPJ) as incompatible with journalistic duties. The CCPJ ruled that commercial identification, commercial follow-up, and collection support create conflicts of interest, potentially violating the Code of Conduct and punishable by fines or suspension. The CR accused the contract of interfering with editorial independence and risking public trust, though the specific contract terms remain under dispute between the Council and the Administrative Council.
