Briefings

A Shortlist features a Portuguese design project fOsqa by architect Pedro Geraldes, a new lighting collection where objects retain artistic value when off. The event also includes the opening of Quinze e Meio's first store in Porto, a Portuguese October menu at JNcQUOI Frou Frou featuring live music, a three-course chef journey by Paulo Leite in the Azores, a limited edition Dom Pérignon 2026 with Damien Hirst's kaleidoscope design, and a Sotheby's auction of a 1926 Macallan whisky estimated at up to 2.2 million pounds.

Key points

• The Portuguese project fOsqa is led by architect Pedro Geraldes and focuses on creating original lighting objects that maintain sculptural presence when turned off.
• Quinze e Meio opened its first store in Porto on Rua José Gomes Ferreira, combining international and Portuguese brands in its interior design selection.

Context

This Shortlist event combines cultural, culinary, and luxury experiences across Portugal and the Azores, featuring a new lighting design project, a boutique hotel opening, a live music menu, a chef's journey, a limited edition champagne collaboration, and a historic whisky auction.

Limitations
