Briefings

The Portuguese government announced new incentives for electric vehicles in 2027, aiming to strengthen decarbonization of transport through sustainable mobility measures. However, the current proposal only mentions electric vehicle support without specifying the allocation timeline, budget, or eligibility criteria. A previous similar funding round in June 2026 was exhausted within hours, raising uncertainty about the new program's funding. The text also notes potential changes to electricity grid access models and renewable energy community access procedures, but lacks specific implementation dates or financial figures.
